humans beings are made up of trillions upon trillions of cells. despite the fact that we are just one giant blob of these little living creatures, we see ourselves as a single concious entity. what is the force that has allowed our cells to evolve and coexist harmoniusly together with one another, and more importantly what is it that binds them all to "us", and why does it seem like we are but one single being? I believe that our soul is what causes this strange phenomenon. Even though on the corporeal level we are made of trillions of cells, on the spiritual level we are but one entity. It is this that causes us to see ourselves as one single individual and it is why we are in fact one single being despite being at the same time trillions of little cells. This is also part of the reason why I believe in christianity.
